Carol Strickland
is a career and award-winning educator as
well as a community and national volunteer.
She has spent 4 decades working with
children to build a brighter future.  Now, she
wants to work with others to build a
        BETTER KANSAS.

Carol shares a rural Emporia home with her
husband of 41 years, Glen, and their 19-year-
old daughter Dasha, an ESU student.

Carol has taught and practiced effective
communication skills, and this experience
has prepared her well for the Legislature.

Carol is:

    able to see all sides of an issue
